The Strange Case of Teresita
Tereza and Manuel are a young couple. They are expecting a child, whom they love but see as an early gift of life. Their plans for youth, Tereza's schooling and the freedom of youth are up for discussion. The care of family members becomes excessive and unbearable. So Tereza and Manuel are looking for a solution, but on the condition that the child they are expecting, Teresita, whom they love very much, is not harmed. A solution is offered by an enigmatic character, Veisman (a doctor?), who suggests a plan that can provide solutions to problems. Veisman's detailed plan (doctor or not) seems strange and untested, but Tereza and Manuel commit to working towards a successful outcome. Part of the plan also involves the family members, who will have to play their part despite their doubts and are obliged to fulfil their children's wishes. When the long-awaited day arrives, Tereza battles fear and doubt about whether everything will go as she had envisaged.
