Planting Trees

It concerns one of the darkest aspects of the communist regime in Albania, the unexplored crimes of that system. It is a retrospective that brings a somewhat forgotten and unknown reality to younger generations. It is also the story of a young man whose life came to an end for reasons incomprehensible to today's Albanian youth. It is the story of a regime that disfigured human nature or depressed it beyond reason. Every dictatorial regime has untold stories, and one of them is the story of our film, a story based on true events.
