The Legend of the Cane

Çesku, an elderly and frail Albanian Franciscan priest, has spent most of his life living under communist persecution. But he has not forgotten what his master, Father Pali, had told him to do: he must throw Father Pali's staff into the river. What happens next makes Çešku realise that what Father Pali asked him to do with the staff was not merely a wish.
