Happy New Year 1982

When Gimi and the duck his father brought out into the courtyard in front of the block of flats, they immediately become "shooting targets" for the other children who are grazing their roosters in the neighbourhood. After the "battle," the wounded duck must be slaughtered before Gimi's eyes and later served straight from the oven for the most important and sumptuous dinner of the year. Gimi receives a pillow stuffed with white down from his best friend as a New Year's gift in 1982.
