In present-day Tirana, AGIM and GËZIM, two inseparable, deaf identical twin brothers in their thirties, live under the same roof. ANA, GËZIM's girlfriend, a young, spirited woman, visits them quite often. One evening, AGIM is driving home with GËZIM when his vision blurs and a fatal accident nearly occurs. A few days later, at the ophthalmologist's, the two brothers discover that, due to a rare genetic disease, they will each become progressively and irreversibly blind. Slowly immersed in an unbearable, silent darkness, unable to see the world or each other any longer, with only ANA by their side, the two brothers must make a difficult decision over a cup of coffee, wearing new shoes.
