Before the fall of the Berlin Wall, in the remote mountains of dictatorial Albania, the Spaç political prison held inmates in the most inhuman conditions. One day, a visitor arrives from afar, bearing news locked inside a wooden box. She steps into a frozen moment, where in the deep silence only the echo of mute voices reverberates, while identities have long since faded beneath the vigilant eye of authority. Her sudden arrival sparks a conflict among the prisoners, who are undecided whether to confront the outside world or continue to hide from it. This short, on-location film is based on the testimonies of survivors, as a reminder that such horrors in Rehabilitation Ward No. 303 – Spaç Prison, were man-made.
